 Have you already heard of the free credit report? Some may have heard of it and are already taking advantage of the opportunity it brings. For those of you who are still in the dark, there are many companies who provide free credit reports that are provided by one or more of the three major national credit bureaus.

Know if the accounts on the credit report handed to you are listed as “joint” or are “really joint”.  Recall the court settlements you had and see if the free credit report given to you indicate that it is in compliance.
